McCormick Clouser finished the tournament strong with a 2-under par final round of 70, his lowest round of the tourney. He led his team at the Northern Intercollegiate in Sugar Grove, IL, finishing fourth-place in the field with a 2-over par 218 (72-76-70). Ball State finished eighth after posting a 41-over par, 905 (294-311-300).
Clouser recorded five birdies and three bogeys in his final time around the course.
For the final round of the tournament, Ball State carded a 2-over par 74 from Zach Yinger, a 75 by James Blackwell, a 81 by Michael Makris, and Johnny Watts shot a 85.
Virginia won the tournament with a team total of 879 (297-296-286), followed by Winthrop in second-place with a 882, (285-302-295), and to round out the top three, Ohio State with a total of 892, (290-304-298).
