Post Round 2 Report : Central Arkansas

Thanks to Fernanda Lira's second round 4-over par 76, Central Arkansas moved up one spot to eighth following two rounds at the Bearcat Spring Classic. Overall for the team, Malin Senneryd is the low score at 8-over par through 36 holes.

Malin Senneryd carded two birdies, four bogeys, and one double bogey in her second time around the course. Currently, Senneryd is 51 strokes short of the individual leader, Hailey Boner of NDSU. Her 4-over par 76 was better than her season average round of five-over par.

On the round, Central Arkansas recorded a 4-over par 76 from Malin Senneryd, a 77 from Kendra Mann, a 84 from Brenda Gonzalez, and Frida Svensson shot a 93 for the tournament.

Memphis hopped out ahead of the field, with a team total of 602. Jacksonville (616) is second-place, with NDSU (619) and Seminole State (619) are currently in a tie for third-place at the Bearcat Spring Classic.
