Post Round 2 Report : NIU

Despite Lena Gautier's second round 3-over par 75, NIU slid down five spots into twelfth with two rounds played. Lena Gautier is also leading the team through two rounds, currently at 11-over par.

Gautier carded two birdies and five bogeys in her second time around the Mission Inn Resort Los Colinas. After two rounds, Gautier follows the individual leader, Hailey Boner of NDSU, by 54 strokes.

On the round, NIU recorded a 7-over par 79 from Sydney Brickey, a 79 from Sam Coyne, a 89 from Connie Ellett, and Peyton Gunnison shot a 90 for the tournament.

Memphis hopped out ahead of the field, with a team total of 602. Jacksonville (616) is second-place, with NDSU (619) and Seminole State (619) are currently in a tie for third-place at the Bearcat Spring Classic.
