Jere Pelletier had a strong final round as he led UTEP with a 3-under par 69. As a team, UTEP finished the tournament in the top three after posting a 14-under par, 850 (294-274-282). Martin Simonsen carded five birdies and three bogeys in his final time around the course, on a warm Tuesday. He fell short of the individual winner, Ronneblad of Texas Tech, by four strokes.
Simonsen was the low score for his team for the tournament, where he finished with a 5-under par 211. For the final round of the tournament, UTEP carded a 3-under par 69 from Jere Pelletier, a 71 by Nicklas Pihl, a 72 by Roberto Ruiz, and Jacob Loya shot a 77.
Texas Tech won the tournament with a team total of 835 (275-274-286), followed by Southeastern Louisiana in second-place with a 846, (272-286-288), and to round out the top three, UTEP with a total of 850, (294-274-282).
