Despite Juan Munoz's 4-over par final round of 76, he led his team at the Northern Intercollegiate in Sugar Grove, IL, finishing in a tie for eighteenth-place overall with an 8-over par 224 (73-75-76). North Texas finished ninth after posting a 47-over par, 911 (304-301-306).
Munoz recorded one eagle, five birdies, five bogeys, and one double bogey in his final round.
For the final round of the tournament, North Texas carded a 3-over par 75 from Jason Roets, a 77 by Andrew Hudson, a 78 by Cory Churchman, and Julien Marot shot a 81.
Virginia won the tournament with a team total of 879 (297-296-286), followed by Winthrop in second-place with a 882, (285-302-295), and to round out the top three, Ohio State with a total of 892, (290-304-298).
