With Nick Nelson's 1-over par final round of 73, he led his team at the Northern Intercollegiate in Sugar Grove, IL, finishing tenth-place overall with a 5-over par 221 (72-76-73). Marquette finished seventh after posting a 40-over par, 904 (298-299-307).

Nelson recorded two birdies and three bogeys in his final time around the course.

For the final round of the tournament, Marquette carded a 3-over par 75 from Henry Klongland, a 76 by Brandon Cloete, a 77 by Patrick Sanchez, and Trevor Thomas shot a 78.

Virginia won the tournament with a team total of 879 (297-296-286), followed by Winthrop in second-place with a 882, (285-302-295), and to round out the top three, Ohio State with a total of 892, (290-304-298).
