Post Round 1 Report : Carthage
Carthage is off to a great start, currently in second-place, led by Alex Rendon, along with Alex Stewart and Nate Lee, and their rounds of 74. Rendon and Stewart are currently short of the individual leader, Anton Olsson of Lawrence U, by four strokes. His 3-over par 74 was better than his season average round of 14-over par.
For the round, Carthage shot a 3-over par 74 from Alex Stewart, a 75 from Nate Lee, a 75 from Matt Meneghetti, and Jarrett Simonson shot a 76 for the round.
Central hopped out ahead of the field to start the tournament, with a team total of 293. Carthage (300) is second-place, while Carroll (316) and Concordia (316) are currently in a tie for third-place at the MSOE Invitational.
