Post Round 1 Report : MSOE

MSOE finished the first round of the tournament in tenth-place. Andrew Ramirez's first round 8-over par, 79, was the lowest for the team on the round. MSOE is 43 shots behind the leader, Central. Ramirez is currently nine strokes behind the individual leader, Anton Olsson of Lawrence U. His 8-over par 79 was better than his season average round of 13-over par.

For the round, MSOE shot an 11-over par 82 from Reid Rumack, a 84 from Jacob Phelps, a 85 from Dylan Challe, and Macon Suckow shot a 88 for the round.

Central jumped out to an early lead, with a team total of 293. Carthage (300) is second-place, with Carroll (316) and Concordia (316) are currently in a tie for third at the tournament.
