Post Round 1 Report : Rockford
Rockford finished the first round of the tournament in twelfth-place. Kaleb Rich's first round 7-over par, 78, was the lowest for the team on the round. Rockford is 62 shots behind the leader, Central. Rich is currently eight strokes behind the individual leader, Anton Olsson of Lawrence U.
For the round, Rockford shot a 19-over par 90 from Tom Lougren, a 92 from Justin Christiansen and a 95 from Ed Tatera.
Central hopped out ahead of the field to start the tournament, with a team total of 293. Carthage (300) is in second, while Carroll (316) and Concordia (316) are currently in a tie for third-place at the MSOE Invitational.
