Post Round 1 Report : Florida Atlantic

FAU finished the first round of the tournament in seventeenth-place. Heather Netti's first round 8-over par, 80, was the lowest for the team on the round. FAU is 39 shots behind the leader, Memphis.

Netti recorded one birdie, seven bogeys, and one double bogey in her first round. Netti is currently ten strokes behind the individual leader, Emily Goldenstein of Memphis.

For the round, FAU shot an 11-over par 83 from Macarena Haupt, a 85 from Yumi Fujii, a 89 from Nicole Marino, and Emily Peters shot a 91 for the round.

Memphis hopped out ahead of the field to start the tournament, with a team total of 298. NDSU (303) is second-place, with Cincinnati (312), Seminole State (312), and Seton Hall (312) are currently in a tie for third at the tournament.
